North Cedar Elementary School serves more than 190 students in kindergarten through grade six. It imparts reading skills to elementary-grade students through phonics instruction. North Cedar Elementary School also conducts classes in art, music, physical education, library skills, science and computer applications. The school also has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. It operates fine arts, computer applications, and health and physical education departments. North Cedar Elementary School has a staff that includes a psychologist, speech pathologist, and physical and occupational therapists. Located in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the school is a part of the Cedar Falls Community School District.
