Since 1929, Caton Radio has been serving customers all throughout the Baltimore area - from Howard County (Columbia, Ellicott City, Clarksville) to Baltimore County (Towson, Essex, Dundalk, Catonsville) to Anne Arundel County (Glen Burnie, Annapolis, Severna Park, Hanover) and beyond. We sell and repair all types of car stereo systems – whether your vehicle is a domestic or an import – from Hondas and Toyotas to BMWs and Audis, there’s no job too heavy for us. When we first started, over 80 years ago, our specialty was gauge cluster and speedometer repair – and still to this day, we have factory trained repair technicians on site. There is an excellent chance that you first heard about Caton Radio from your dealership. Car dealers throughout the state of Maryland send their customers to Caton Radio. They know that they can trust us to fix, repair, or upgrade their customer’s vehicle electronics. But today, Caton Radio is better known for its expert and detailed car interior work. I regret to report that I must caution anyone to not trust this establishment . My car was damaged by the staff in their car lot whilst repairs were being carried out. I pointed this out to the manager and received a litany of lies and alibies in response. I was told thath they have video evidence of the damage being there on arrival but that they could not because the video tape was destroyed.
To be fair the Canton Radio Manager who was given every opportunity to resolve the issue but chose to deny all responsibility and only offer that a contrived fictitious video tape as his only supporting evidence
My Experience with Caton Radio was awful. I had Caton Radio install a remote starter in my 2012 4 runner. The first problem that I had was the trunk hatchback kept releasing while driving, the alarm would sound off stating the truck was ajar. I took it back to them and they (Chris the Manger) made it seem like it was my fault. After several appointment they finally reprogram the brain of the remote starter. They eventually fixed the problem thankfully, but the another problem had occurred. The second problem was the remote start would not start when I needed most(cold morning). So I took it back to them with a far out appointment, Chris just reprogram it again and it worked for two weeks then failed. This was repeated about 6 times with Chris just reprogramming the brain to start on demand. I then became fed up with them and asked them to uninstall this remote starter. It was obvious that Chris didn't know what he was doing and didn't own up to the ongoing problem that he couldn't fix. DO NOT GO TO CATON RADIO pick another place to do business If i could I would give this place a zero star

I have had nothing but good experiences with this company... It seems that allot of people like to complain when things just don't go there way. Everything has always been fully explained to me before they have done any work for me. I have had several vehicles get remote starters installed, and three of which had radio repairs done. The service compared to out of state repairs was quick and cheap. I would recommend this company over any other car radio shop any day! They are very personable and professional!
Not only did your technicians take the time to diagnosis the problem with my heated seats, they also took the time to explain the problem to me in easily understood language. They showed me the problem by bringing the faulty wire to me. Your waiting room was very nice and comfortable. The staff is friendly and worked with me to fix the problem and made sure I was confident with the repair.
I've been to Caton Radio several times. It's always been a great experience. The staff has always been knowledgable, helpful, courteous and accommodating.
