Howard University Continuing Education, also known as HUCE, provides a range of training and development services for the professional and personal development of individuals and organizations. Established in 1986, it is a part of Howard University, which is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The center is also is recognized by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. Howard University Continuing Education has collaborations with schools and colleges. In addition, it maintains various continuing education units in Washington. The center offers courses for individual students. Howard University Continuing Education provides customized training under grants and contracts for the employees of government agencies and private firms. It is a member of the University Continuing Education Association.
