According to the listing in the phone book this kennel is supposed to be in Castleton VA with a zip code of 22716. Upon my dropping my dog off I was way off base. I used map quest to get to Castleton and thought I would call them for directions once I got closer in. Turns out that this kennel is NOT in Castleton but is in Catlett VA 20119. I ended up driving over 40 miles out of my way because of this problem with the listing in the telephone book. The kennels worker treated me like I was an idiot or something just because teir listing is wrong.

The workers were rather pleasant and seem to be quite accommodating however didn't seem very "dog friendly". The black-haired girl just grabbed my dog from me and took him back as if she was being forced to handle him. Her employer acted as if it were normal. The kennels are not kept clean. The maintenance of the buildings that house the dogs are in need up upgrading and vast improvements. The fenced in areas that my dog was allowed out into need to be clean of other dogs waste. The fencing around the "yards" are falling apart with many "patch jobs" done to them (ie. a rock thrown in a hole, a spare barn gate leaned against the fence to cover a hole large enough in the fence for many dogs to get through, gates that need to be handled gently when opened so they don't fall apart or fall off the extremely damaged hinges. The "claimed" climate control in the buildings only actually applied to the main building. In my tour I seen window a/c's barely in the window and unsafe space heaters.
