Norman Chambliss and Jim Rabil formed a general contracting company in Rocky Mount, NC in 1975. Yates Chambliss and Chris Dougherty joined the firm in 2004 and 2008 respectively. Both became a partner in 2016. The company operates construction divisions in Rocky Mount, Raleigh, and Wilmington N.C hambliss & Rabil has developed a set of proven project operations and management systems that allow construction to take place in a safe and timely manner inside occupied spaces. The construction company has completed large renovation projects inside hospitals and private medical facilities requiring the implementation of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) standards. Chambliss & Rabil Contractors is Healthcare Construction Certified under the ASHE program.
