The company s more than 250,000 square-foot manufacturing facility includes a machine shop with nearly 40 state-of-the-art CNC machining centers, a fabrication shop, a burn shop and a number of specialized assembly areas. The company s machining services utilize horizontal boring mills to handle large castings and fabrications, while multi-pallet machine centers are used for smaller production pieces. K&M's flexible fabrication shop includes manual welding stations, an airless paint booth and multi-axis welding robots. The company s burn shop is capable of handling a wide range of production requirements utilizing oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting tools and multiple-head burning capabilities.
