Founded in 1950, Standard Laboratories operates more than 40 laboratories in the United States. The firm additionally provides coal sampling and analysis, washability studies, acid-based accounting, contracting and support services. Its rock mechanics and soil capabilities include uniaxial compression testing, sonic velocities, swelling strain, slake durability, and soil texture and classification.
