Dr. McGowan has been my doctor for years. He has a wonderful beside manner. He is very knowledgeable. He is prompt in returning messages and answering questions. I would definitely recommend this practice. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

He is very kind and considerate. Always always ask me if I have any questions. He gives me his full attention which I find very rare nowadays. This is a truly, awesome doctor. His smile is so uplifting that it gives out positive vibes. His co-workers feel it and so does his patients as I witness this the other day. I will recommend all my friends to his office. I do hope he stays until he retires. I am lucky to be a patient of his. I do not say this about my other doctors, just him, that is how wonderful he is. .

I have never had gentle rectal exam but Dr. McGowan was gentle and informative in his findings. He discovered I had an anal fissure. He prescribed me a compound medication that he formulated especially for me, within days I saw positive results. My pain was unbearable for 3-4 months and with his care I have completely healed with no pain. I would recommend Dr. McGowan to anyone if they are looking for excellent care.

Doctor and anesthesiologist were excellent, from what little I can remember while under anesthesia. Nurses were warm, professional, and busy. They did not check up on you if you had to wait a long time, as I did, but were whirlwinds, so it is understandable. My wife says he waiting room is pretty small. I will come back, but I hope not soon. .
