Aroma is a collection of authentic recipes that have been passed down for generations. The brilliant dishes we have today reflect India's dedication and passion for the culinary arts. We strive to provide both a Indian as well as Indo Chinese with every visit to Aroma to bring you closer to this remarkable culture. Chef Gamer Rawat got his start at Bhukara New Delhi (voted number one Indian restaurant in the world) and worked at Tamarind a top Indian restaurant in New York City. He then ventured to come to Triangle where he began his journey in Saffron in Morrisville, Raaga In Chapel Hill and Mantra in Downtown Raleigh as an Executive chef. His customers' support, along with his wife Mamta, Chef Rawat opened his own restaurant in Oct 2014 at 160 NE Maynard Rd Cary Chef Rawat is critically acclaimed, world-renowned chef who has collected numerous accolades throughout his storied career. With an impressive resume stretching from, India to New York, and eventually North Carolina, he has been known to push the envelope with his culinary skills. The American Culinary Association has ranked him as being an "outstanding achiever in the culinary arts".
