My family has been eating at Tequila's in Carterville every week since it opened. We consider it to be the best Mexican Restaurant in southern Illinois. The service is good and the staff are very friendly. The manager goes out of his way to say hello and thank everyone who eats there. The food is excellent and the restaurant is very clean! My wife and I enjoy the chicken fajitas. So stop by Tequila's in Carterville and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. There is no reason to go Carbondale or Marion again... the best Mexican restaurant is in Carterville.

Not only was the service terrible my friends and I did not get what we ordered and there was hair in our food. When we confronted the waitress she insisted that WE were wrong and didn't want to fix the problem. I am disgusted and will not return unless the service, and food improve tremendously.

Food just as good as any of the other local Tequila's restaurants. Service was great and friendly too.
