      General Info
      In 1986, Dr. Melhuish received her B.A. in biology and physical education before receiving her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. She then completed her three year residency and has been in private practice since 1995. Dr. Melhuish maintains her certifications, professional standings and memberships to stay up-to-date on all of the latest podiatric developments. She has been a part of the Northern Nevada medical community and helps with hospitals and surgical centers on a regular basis. in 2000, she opened Sierra Foot & Ankle when the medical group she had been a part of had dissolved. She currently lives in Carson City where she is raising her daughter along with a Jack Russell terrier and a black kitty. She loves spending time outdoors and has hobbies involving "anything tech."
