      Boys and Girls Clubs of Western Nevada offers five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. It offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth ages 6 through 18. The club, based in Carson City, Nev., provides prevention programs for youth that include gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and pregnancy prevention. B&GC of Western Nevada s programs include Einstein play, fine art, fun with food, global art, jazzy jewelry, kid concoctions, kids in control, power hour, sewing class smart moves and weird science.
