Experienced professional, caring, & non-judgmental therapy is offered by Lori Vann and her staff at Vann Counseling. They offer individual, family, couples, and group counseling. With 3 counselors in the practice, there are numerous ways that we can assist you at a very affordable price. High quality mental health care does not have to mean high prices. At Vann Counseling, we believe that mental health should not be a luxury item. Areas of expertise: self-injury, boundaries in a variety of relationships, perfectionism, anxiety disorders, depression and bipolar, control issues, assertiveness training, and self-esteem building. Lori Vann has been a Professional Speaker since 2000 and has given talks in California, Hawaii, Texas, and Mexico. See her speaking website for a small list of topics and venues. In 2009, she became a Media Mental Health Consultant for all types of media--see Counseling website for a small list of the over 220 TV, radio, and print interviews that she has given for ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CW, Univision, The Dallas Morning News, The Denver Post, etc. Those in the media have called her a 'natural' when it comes to giving interviews. In the spirit of helping the next generation of counselors, she became a LPC Intern Supervisor in 2003 for the State of Texas. She takes her role as a counselor and supervisor very seriously, which is why she teaches ethics classes to the mental health community. She has now been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas for over 15 years. Professionally speaking, Lori Vann has a broad range of counseling experiences from inpatient psychiatric to the non-profit sector, outpatient counseling centers, professor at two local colleges, and private practice. The women in her practice also come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences that assist the clients that they serve.
