My mom was a resident here for approx 6 months. She had a stroke and couldn't communicate. While she was here she was over medicated and fell several times. Each time i had to demand xrays. She constantly yelled and I could not figure out why. Of course it got on the staffs nerves so they left her in bed several days- over the weekend. During those several days she dislocated her hip and no one could seem to tell me how it happened. Long story short, she was taken to the hopital where she had emergency surgery. Several times i found her in the bed with no clothes, no covers with the air-conditioning on full blast. She started having bruises on her arms and legs - to which I have pictures. My sister-in-law walked in one day and a CNA was yelling at my mom while in her face. One of the most disturbing things to me - I was approached by another CNA who told me that she did not know my mother could walk until she and others who were sitting around the nurses station saw my mother walking down the hall one night "but-naked". I was told that it was the funniest thing they ever saw and they just laughed and laughed.
