Based in Carpinteria, Calif., Maximum Nursery Inc. is one of the oldest growers of gerbera daisies in the United States and is involved in production of gerberas for over 30 years. The produces are of varying stem lengths, vase lives, flower sizes and colors. The company uses environmental computers to regulate temperature, humidity, light and carbon dioxide levels to control the greenhouse. All the gerbera plants are hydroponically grown. In addition to gerbera, Maximum Nursery Inc. also produces gerondo, antheriums, germini and field flowers. The company is now one of the leading Anthurium growers in the nation.
