This person just inspected my home tonight, while on hire from our potential buyers. I came home to a very messy home (things way away from where they started when we left) and also, our burner covers are burned. The inspector either turned on the burners and left the covers on or turned on the oven and left the covers on. Regardless, it's a safety issue and is being reported to my realtor, the buyers realtor and whoever I can report it to because he is obviously not a safe inspector.

My husband and I were very pleased with our home inspector, Kim Carnes. His inspection was incredibly thorough. He spent 4 hours inspecting our brand-new house and he caught every single thing, big and small. He explained things to me as we walked around, telling me what to look for, why it is important. And he was very patient in explaining the questions as well. I got an education out of it. The experience was great and I am impressed!



The report was excellent. It was detailed with many pictures showing the individual items that were inspected. Besides, he told me how to maintain everything in the house and the home itself.



The price for the inspection was reasonable, we spent $300 at that time. This was definitely money well spent.



He was very professional, friendly and informative. I highly recommend Kim to anyone who needs a home inspection in his region.
