I booked an appt thru the Pep Boys website for a transmission fluid & filter change for $179. When I arrived the service manager said the cost would be over $300! I immediately logged back onto the PB website and showed him the $179 price. Next he told me that he could not get a filter until Monday! Moreover, he seemed baffled by the "new computer system" and appeared overwhelmed with only two cars in the bays. Since I was already there (and wasted about 30 minutes waiting for the service manager to not find a filter) I opted for the "basic oil change" for $34.40. The oil change was quick and successful. So I give 3 stars for service. However, I will not be returning to this location on Monday or ever again. Based on my overall experience I can not recommend Pep Boys at the Cape Coral location.
