Canton Area Elementary School, governed under the Canton Area School District, offers educational instructions to students from grades kindergarten through six. The school enrolls more than 550 students, and offers a variety of special education classes for talented and gifted students. It teaches a variety of subjects, including mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, arts and crafts, music, and physical education. The school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as family and field trips, chorus and band. It also has athletic teams for various sports, such as baseball, volleyball and tennis.
