Republic is a North American supplier of special-bar quality steel, a highly engineered product used in axles, drive shafts, suspension rods and other critical components of automobiles, off-highway vehicles and industrial equipment. It serves major markets, including appliances; automotive; bearings; converters; fasteners; firearms; forgings; hand tools; machine tools; off-highway equipment; ordnance; pumps, valves and fittings; and steel service centers. With headquarters in Fairlawn, Ohio, Republic Engineered Products operates steel-making centers and value-added rolling and finishing facilities, including operations in Canton, Ohio. The company is an employer of more than 2,300 people.
