      General Info

      Established in 1980 Hopping Media began as Hopping Design when co-owner Deborah left Home Magazine to begin freelance designing for publishers in the Bay Area. At first work was focused on magazine and book publishers but quickly grew to working with prominent companies such as Apple, HP and Sunset Magazine. Hopping expanded it's abilities dramatically when Benjamin joined Deborah in 1995. Since then Hopping moved in step with the growing market of web design, interactive media, product presentations, and art game play development for the single and multi-player game industry.Hopping's clients have included, Mattel, Mad Magazine, HP, Cisco, Intel and have received awards for their creative work. In the SF area, Hopping created the marketing look as well as all advertising and marketing materials for hundreds of theatrical presentations and theatres.

      Meet the Business Owner: Deborah L. Graphic designer and art director, Deborah has been working in the industry for over 30 years. She has a natural ability to simplify and focus projects and understand the needs of everyone involved (including the target audience.) She is also excellent at seeing beyond the project to "what comes next."Deborah began her career as an illustrator before moving to magazine design and art direction. Once she began freelancing, she worked for all of the major publishers in the SF bay area creating book cover designs as well as marketing pieces. She also worked with many performers and theatrical groups on album design and marketing. Deborah has continued to work with the entertainment industry.Deborah has also worked with many other industries - with most clients finding her through word of mouth. She has designed sites and marketing materials for education, furniture, interior design, research, online ticketing, food, auditing, venture capital, political, law, and a Congress woman.
