NIghtmare . This happened a while ago but my credit score STILL is affected badly. Went in for a procedure that my dental plan verified to cost 827 dollars. Woman( Sarah) at front desk ask me if I wanted to have a GE credit card to cover the dental so i thought it would be a good way to keep track of payments . Had procedure and when I received the first statement it was for the max amount allowed by the card... 4000 dollars! I had to call dental plan people to reverify amount and Sarah stonewalled and lied and tried to tell me iwas 827 for part of my mouth and it took forever to finally get the refund of over 3000 dollars. Once they(Cosmeticare) sends in the paperwork the Credit card people will blame you . I paid the 827 $ but not the interest on the 4000 dollar amount and the interest accrued more interest and soon collection companies were pestering me and finally a law firm . I presented the paperwork to them and finally I was left alone. Like I said NIGHTMARE!
