Enka High School, located in Candler, N.C., offers a variety of academic and co-curricular programs to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 1,300 students. The school provides courses in various programs, such as career, college technology and university preparation. It offers various subjects, including agriculture and natural resources technology, biological and chemical technologies, business, commercial and artistic production, and construction and industrial technologies. The school is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. It is also a member of the Buncombe County School system. It has various clubs, including foreign exchange, winter and spring sports, distance learning and special education.
