Nifco America began as a joint venture with ITW in 1987. Its capabilities include injection and insert molding. Nifco America has a more than 30,000-square-foot facility in the state of Ohio and serves Honda as a major customer. The company operates a tooling department and production, sales and manufacturing facilities in the states of Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. It is a North American arm of Japan-based company, Nifco. Founded in 1967, Nifco began as a manufacturer of plastic fasteners for the automotive and home electronics markets. The parent company is a producer of fasteners and is also a supplier of panels, clips, grommets and clamps for the automotive industry.
