I asked to see an MD because of fertility issues and health issues and was told that was not an option. I was only able to see a nurse practitioner until I was pregnant and then only a midwife unless there were complications with the pregnancy. They were not accommodating to schedule appointments and had a very strict point of view as to how women's fertility issues should be handled. I left the practice in search of a doctor that would prefer to get to know me as a patient.

When I first moved to the area, I chose the largest place near me thinking it would be great. I was wrong- they don't believe in any form of birth control other then charting your ovulation and when you call or try to discuss anything else with them, they refuse to talk about it and will only refer you to their 'classes" to tell you about the charting thing. I've heard good and bad about that so I choose to use birth control just to make sure I don't get pregnant when I don't want to...hopefully. They belong with Holy Spirit Hospital who is a catholic hospital and so their beliefs match what they portray. I just wish I had been told about the birth control before becoming a patient.



I also had a bunch of blood work done and was to call within 2-3 days. I called and they said it wouldn't be back for 2 weeks and then when I tried to schedule an appointment after I was informed they were in, I had to wait another week and a half to get an appointment. This is the same office that every time I go in, I am the only one in the waiting room and only patient i ever see there, in the waiting room, exam rooms, offices etc. It's not a very busy office and they have told me that on numerous occassions. They are also closed certain days of the week I think and that makes it hard to get appointments as well.



Overall, the people are friendly but communication stinks, getting birth control will not happen and their appointments are hard to get. I would look someplace else.
