North Platte R-1 Elementary School is an educational institution that provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs for students in kindergarten through grade three. Its academic curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, spelling, math, language arts, science and social studies. North Platte R-1 Elementary School participates in several sports activities, such as basketball, cheerleading, football, softball, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. It has a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education, as well as organizes various fundraising events. The school also operates band, chess and choir programs. Located in Camden Point, Mo., North Platte R-1 Elementary School is a part of North Platte R-1 Schools, which also maintains intermediate, junior high and high schools.
