Edgetech I.G. manufactures Super Spacer, a line of thermal resistant, tape insulating glass edge-seal products. The structural foam, non-metal window spacer system is designed to improve window performance and has revolutionized the insulating glass window and door industry throughout North America. Super Spacer is sold worldwide in countries, including Europe, Asia and South America. The company also provides complete turnkey services to insulating glass manufacturers and consults to help them switch from an assembly-line, metal-spacer operation to high-speed, flexible-tape, Super Spacer IG manufacturing cells. Edgetech designs, installs and services the most efficient and effective system for each manufacturer's needs. Edgetech also distributes and services IG assembly equipment, which is manufactured for use with Super Spacer. In 1989, Edgetech became a subsidiary of Lauren International, a New Philadelphia, Ohio-based extruder and molder of polymer based seals, gaskets and rubber components.
