Mace's Lane Middle School offers classes from grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes arts, computers, business, English, family and consumer sciences, foreign languages, health education, math, music, vocational and physical education, science, art and craft, and social studies. It offers student assistance program that includes homework help, guidance services, and addresses drug and mental health issues. It has a drama club and student council, and provides various sport programs, such as volleyball, baseball, cross-country and basketball. It uses the Maryland School Assessment for evaluating student s performance in reading, math and science achievement, and meets the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act. Mace's Lane Middle School is governed by the Dorchester County Public Schools, and is located in Cambridge, Md.
