I frankly cannot say enough about Hagop's Art Studio. Cambridge has a gem of a frame shop (and proprietor) here. I have been bringing artwork (paintings, photographs, etchings, even kids' drawings) to Hagop for some 15 years. He (and his wife) are people of superb character and craftsmanship. Also, I would challenge anyone to find prices in the area that are lower than theirs. Hagop and his wife are, almost anachronistically, committed primarily to their customers and to the work, and far less so to making a profit. Hagop, further, has the skills and training of an art restorer, should that ever be necessary. Conversations I have had in Hagop's store (with total strangers) only confirm my solid appreciation of Hagop and his work. Hagop and his wife have a very loyal customer base. One slightly cautionary note: Call (after 2 weeks) to follow-up, or drop in, re: a piece that you have dropped off. Hagop rarely calls in a timely manner to inform you that a piece is ready.
