I highly recommend Asa Hair Design. I have been going to Chris for over 10 years and I have always been delighted with his cutting & styling. Before he cuts your hair he talks to you about what you want to do. He has a folder of popular styles that you can choose from or you can just tell him what you want done. I've had my hair long, short, permed, straight...I've never been disappointed. If you ask me, Chris is one of the most talented stylists around.

Contrary to another reviewer's experience, I met and totally adored Gina. She was thoughtful, curious, wanted to decide together what look would be best for me....... She took a long time with my hair and gave me a really great cut. Obviously someone had a bad day -- but apparently there are many satisfied customers who have followed Gina through several salons -- and I will now be one of them!

I got my hair cut at Asa as a treat to myself on my birthday. I wanted a different look and wanted to go to someone professional and reliable without spending $100+. I thought Asa would be the answer; they charged 50$ for a cut and style and seemed to have a modern edge. Boy was I wrong. It was supposed to be a cut and style, but Gina, the girl doing my hair, only did the cut. She did a horrible job on the cut and I ended up in tears, but she did not attempt (or offer to) correct it. To start with, she insisted that I find a picture in a book for her to copy, which I thought was a little unprofessional, but I found something I thought was decent, but she couldn't even manage a copy cat cut. Throughout the cut, she whined about personal problems. After the fact, she and the manager were both very rude, they even laughed at me when i said politely that I was disatisfied. I ended up spending over 100 anyway by the time I paid someone else to fix the mess that Gina made of my hair.
