Jsut took my dog in to see Dr. Chong--she took a tremendous amount of time with me discussing my options for his condition and was very kind and gentle with him. I have been to alot of vets and she was by far the best I've ever been to.

Dr. Chong is a great vet AND surgeon. She will tell you honestly when it's time to stop treatment except for comfort measures (or humanely euthanize) when other clinics will nickel and dime to no benefit. She really likes working with animals and knows her stuff.

Dr. Chong is the very best vet I have ever met. I was in crisis the day I met her. My 13 year old cat had been diagnosed with kidney failure with less than 2 weeks to live. This caring woman called me and told me come in after closing time. She had rechecked his blood only to discover he was worse .She had info about the illness, its causes, symptoms & treatment options.She had made time for me to share my overwhelming feelings of grief, fear, loss and self-doubt. She explained the options in great detail & was there to answer questions but more so to listen and comfort She gave me a treatment plan that I could handle. She told me during this final stage of Babydoll's life that neither Baby nor I should suffer. Life should be GREAT and if that included stopping the sub-q fluid treatment, that was OK. Daily for 5 enjoyable months, I gave the fluids
