Station Two maintains a fleet of ambulances, aerial towers, and rescue and reserve pumpers. It is a part of the Calumet City Fire Department, which provides fire protection, rescue and first response services. The department also offers fire investigation services. The Calumet City Fire Department operates several fire stations and maintains a staff of more than 45 firefighters. It is a member of MABAS (Mutual Aid Box Alarm System) Division 24. The department is governed by Calumet City in Illinois. The city operates engineering, garbage removal, legal, personnel, police, purchasing and public works departments. It also operates water billing, water service, and sewer and maintenance departments. Calumet City s purchasing department is responsible for the procurement of equipment, materials and supplies.
