Grover C. Dils Medical Center, with its facilities in Caliente, Calif., is a nonprofit organization that provides health services to the rural community of Lincoln County, Calif. Its inputs include dietary, laboratory, physical therapy, radiology and respiratory care support. Its dietary department prepares meals for patients and staff and offers dietary consultations. Its laboratory offers a menu of in-house testing that is common to most rural hospitals in Nevada, and includes Wintrobe sedimentation rate, comprehensive metabolic chemistry panel, hepatic panel, cardiac triage panel and urinalysis testing. It provides physical therapy services, such as orthopedics, sports medicine, back and neck pain and neuro-rehabilitation.
