WE TOOK OUR CAR HERE A FEW PEOPLE SAID HE WAS A GOOD MECHANIC MY CAR 3 MONTHS AND EVERY TIME WE WENT HE HAD A REASON WHY HE WAS NOT DONE WITH THE CAR MY CAR SIT IN THE SAME PLACE EVERY TIME I DROVE BY WE WENT INSIDE AND TALKED TO THE OWNER AND HE SAID THAT HE ORDERED A USED PART 2 TIMES AND IT DIDN'T WORK SO HE SAID THE PART NEW IS GOING TO BE $348 SO WE GAVE HIM THE MONEY FOR THAT WEEKS LATER AND STILL NO CAR SO WE WENT BACK HE SAID HIS MACHINE TORE UP THAT HE USES TO PROGRAM THE NEW PARTS IN WITH SO WE WAITED ANOTHER WEEK TO GIVE HIM TIME AND GUESS WHAT CAR STILL SITING IN THE SAME PLACE AND HASN'T BEEN MOVED YET. SO WE WENT AND TOLD HIM WE NEED THE CAR AND HE SAID COME BACK LATER TODAY WE DID AND PAID AND LEFT AND THE CAR WENT DEAD 3 TIMES ON THE WAY HOME AND DROVE WORSE THAN BEFORE NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE
Totally agree with you anon2013, dishonest liars rip off merchants I will certainly not reccomend them to anybody not even my worst enemy, very disapointed.
These people were awful! I agree with the person who would like to give a negative rating! They put a used part on my car without asking/telling me, charged me for a new one, and messed up the alternator while they were in there. Then after the owner PROMISED a full refund, he changed his story the next day in front of the manager and only gave us the price of the part. I'm out over $500 now because of having to pay another mechanic to fix what they screwed up.
North Georgia was the best choice I could have made for my car repair. I have a 2000 Honda Accord and my engine was locked up from the recent flood. The insurance company was trying not to cover it, they not only got it covered, but they let me keep my deductible and they gave me a free tow as well as a loaner vehicle for free while they fixed my car. I go to them for all my vehicle needs!!

A GREAT SHOP HONEST AND VERY FRIENDLY THEY WENT OUT OF THERE WAY TO REPAIR MY CAR AND SAVE ME A TON OF MONEY AT THE SAME TIME I WAS KEPT IN THE LOOP FROM START TO FINISH WILL DEFINATLY BE BACK
To the previous poster This is Donnie from North Ga Auto Repair im sorry you had a bad experience but if you would have contacted me i would have took care of it for you we want you happy if possible as far as charging for service not done i don't know what your talking about but if you will bring me a reciept showing me where you was charged for something that was not done to your car i will gladly make it right again im sorry Donnie Hayes
If I could give a negative rating, I would. I have had minimal experience with shops, but this one is beyond bad. I can only speak for myself, but they did not repair my car. They attempted to, but failed. Donnie (who is the owner) appears to be a nice, older, Christian man, and he may well be that, but he is not running his business in a Christian-like manner; Attempting to charge people more than once for the same issue or charge them fees for services that were not actually done is not how to run a successful business. I do think they have knowledge of car repair and they did seem to be nice people, but that doesn't fix the car or make up for the unncessary costs I incurred.
My son broke down on i=75 i looked on line and found Gordon at North Georgia Auto Repair . I called from Florida they went right out to get him.They went beyond helpful!!! I am so thankful for there help. I would recommend HIGHLY!!!!! Thanks
