Calera Middle High School offers a range of educational opportunities and is a part of the Shelby County School System. Located in Calera, Ala., the school s sports activities include soccer, baseball, softball, cheerleading, football, volleyball and golf. The school has several academic departments, such as English language arts, mathematics, fine arts, career technology and physical education. Its curriculum also includes science, social studies, and family and consumer science. The school has a foreign language department that offers classes in German, Spanish and French languages. Calera Middle High School s fine arts department offers classes in art, photography, band marching, chorus and concert choir. The school provides memberships to several organizations, such as a drama club, peer helpers and the National Honor Society.
