We had a wonderful time at the Village Inn for dinner. We went on a Wednesday night so it was not crowded. Our server was polite but gave us just enough attention. The soup was superb! I ordered Chicken French and my boyfriend ordered Steak. His Steak was tender and delicious. I would love the recipe for the vegetables! They were blanched and served with a sweet sauce. My Chicken was devoured! I couldn't leave without sampling the cheesecake- it is served in a martini glass - melt in your mouth balls with strawberry sauce. To top it all off..Italian cookies! My boyfriend would like them for our wedding reception! Caledonia has missed fine dining! Thank you for bringing it back.
