They do absolutely nothing about neighbor harassment. The cops won't help either, cops help the harasser. There is someone who lives here that lies alot, sucks up to the new people, and then quite suddenly turns on people and starts calling the cops and making bogus claims or over reacting to the situation. This person is friends with some of the cops. I have complained to management and the housing authority for a year and a half now. Nothing gets done. She lashes out at other tenants too, not just me. She takes it out on me the most because I live right next door to her. If you want peace, go live somewhere else, because living here is just not worth it. I'm only staying here cuz it's affordable and they let me have pets plus I love being in Caledonia. I do have a citation out there that is $216 I have to pay and it was based on lies claiming dog excessive barkers when they are not. Other neighbors can vouch for me on that one. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Whatever I've heard out there on the streets about Whispering Pines being a good place to go? Well, that one was a lie. I have been lied about, treated unfairly, cops called when they don't need to be. The neighbor I think has been trying to force me out. Really, I don't think I'm a bad neighbor. I don't drink, smoke, or be loud, or even bring visitors here. Watch out if you come here. You'll be in good with this person at first, but then she'll turn on you in a flash and the cops will come because she probably lied about you or over reacted about you.

I am currently seeking justice with the management here at Whispering Pines, and with the Caledonia Police Department. All who have ignored and denied requests to do something about my neighbor. She is well known around here for lying, harassing others, calling cops, etc. etc. etc. She lies to people and says I knock on the bedroom wall and that I've knocked on her door a lot to bother her and also that my dogs bark a WHOLE LOT. When they hardly ever bark. Makes false claims about them and me. Tried to pin me for abuse and neglect before too but it was a no go. Cops don't do anything with her, management here at Whispering Pines doesn't, neither does Nationwide Housing Corporation. She keeps trying to force me out using dirty tactics to try to get her way. She is real nice to people when they move in. Don't get taken by her. Better yet, don't come here because eventually you could end up on her hit list as I and some others have. She's rotten to your face, uses cops to harass, and is an all out nut. She is nice at first to you, but sooner or later you will find out she is not a good person, whether you are her next victim or just a bystander, you will find out. It is best if you don't come here. People say mean stuff about my dogs to get back at me for complaining about neighbor. I do the best I can with them but as all dogs do, sometimes they get a little out of sort. I am still permitted to live here. The view inside some of the apartments vary. Some apartments have older type of carpeting, while others like mine have a different style of carpeting that is much newer and interesting.Also some apartments have different designs of floors than mine. Mine has fancier looking flooring as I think my flooring is newer as well than most. My friend has the original toilet in her bathroom while mine looks pretty new. I think they only replace things in here when they get too old and worn out and then they replace it with flooring and carpeting that is available at the time that they replace it.Probably why the apartments look so different than each other inside each one.But when something needs fixing, they come pretty quickly to repair it, so that's good.I would not recommend this place though.
