Joe runs the shop now. He's a great guy, very honest and direct. He's a true craftsman, the only one I trust to work on my motorcycle boots. I have had several pair of boots resoled here, and all of them have held up great.

I was hesitant to visit this shop because of a recent review, but went anyway, because it was a much more convenient location. The people in the store were friendly and the service and quality of work was fine. I must note this was a simple repair-replacing heels on western boots. I will visit them again.

Take your business elsewhere they are under new ownership and are extremely rude, and apparently inept! The woman was saying no they could not fix them before she ever even looked at my husband's boots! It was just a simple zipper/buckle replacement and we were extremely surprised when she said they couldn't do it... as we'd had the same boots repaired there before in exactly the same way with no problems a couple years ago! Guess they like throwing money out the door, as we were prepared to put down $100+ to have them fixed again! Took them to Boise and the guy is doing the work for less than this place charged anyway!

This Shoe Shop has been here for 65 years and the one who currently owns it has been fixing shoes and rebuilding boots for 39 years. I would trust him with any boot or shoe or leather goods repair that I own. I know that he is located in Caldwell, but his business is so good he draws in customers from as far away as Winnemucca Nevada! He does quality work because he is very picky about how it will not only hold up after the repair, but how it looks. I have been there many times and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!
