- Dental ExaminationOver time, your enamel can begin to wear down, causing your teeth to become more susceptible to decay. That's why it's so important to visit the dentist regularly. Through professional cleanings and exams, your dentist can remove the plaque and tartar that can damage your enamel. They can also identify any areas of concern and provide you with guidance on how to protect your teeth.
- Teeth CleaningMany people think that as long as they brush and floss their teeth regularly, they don't need to visit a dentist. However, this is a mistaken belief. Oral hygiene is about more than just keeping your teeth clean - it's also about maintaining the overall health of your mouth. One of the best ways to do this is by getting regular dental cleanings. Here are six reasons why dental cleanings are essential for your oral health...
- Fluoride Treatment
- Fillings
- VeneersA crown is a cover or “cap” that restores the tooth to its normal shape, size, and function. Veneers improve the appearance of teeth by covering them with a very thin custom-made layer of porcelain.
- CrownsIn some cases, we can fix the problem right away. For example, if you have a toothache, we may be able to clean the area and provide you with a filling. If you have a cracked tooth, we may be able to smooth it out and provide you with a crown.
- Root Canal TreatmentAlso known as root canals, endodontic treatment saves teeth that have become seriously decayed or infected. Damaged areas are cleaned and sealed so that the tooth can go back to functioning like normal.
- Deep CleaningAs the name suggests, aggressive periodontitis is a more severe form of the disease. It's characterized by rapid bone loss and often leads to tooth loss. The most common symptom of aggressive periodontitis is bleeding gums. Other symptoms may include red, swollen, or tender gums; gum recession; and bad breath. Treatment for aggressive periodontitis generally involves a deep cleaning followed by regular cleanings and checkups. In some cases, antibiotics may also be prescribed.

- Oral Surgery
- Gum SurgeryLast but not least, regular professional dental cleaning can save you the cost of extensive dental work down the line. Here's how: when you regularly remove the tartar and plaque from your teeth, you're also removing the bacteria that can cause gum disease. This in turn prevents the need for more costly and invasive procedures such as gum surgery or tooth extractions.
- Tooth Extractions
- OrthodonticsDental braces straighten crooked teeth for an improved and more comfortable dental bite and appearance. With our special orthodontics program, we can have your teeth straight in no time at all!
- BracesSome people find it easier to maneuver this handheld device rather than use a tiny piece of string to clean their teeth. It's also a great alternative for people with dental fixtures that make flossing more difficult, such as braces or bridges.
- Teeth WhiteningWhitening toothpastes use mild abrasives like baking soda or charcoal that can remove some stain. However, keep in mind that these products can be quite rough on your enamel, which is why it's best not to use them for more than two weeks at a time.
