Hands down the worst bank you could possibly use in Butler Pennsylvania. I had so many problems with this bank after using it for only 2 months that I crawled back to my old bank. I wasted an hour giving information on obtaining a mortgage but never heard any follow up. They would not deposit a check in the amount of $5,000 payable to my wife and I into my account because they stated my wife was not a member of the credit union despite her being listed as a joint owner on the account. Let's not forget when the teller made a mistake and transferred all of my checking money into my savings and when I attempted to pay a utility bill the nice folks at Clearview credit union transferred the money back into the checking account and also charged me a service fee. When I informed them of what had happened they refused to refund the service fee. The best part is when someone from the main branch called me to inform me that they had lost my initial application for the checking and savings accounts and had no record of me signing anything to open the accounts. By this time I had transferred my money back into my old bank account. I informed the customer representative that she should just close my account, as their bank was the worst I had ever dealt with. I had to reiterate this on several occasions before my account was finally closed a few months later. The kicker is when I received my final statement they actually kept what little money I had in my checking account (around $40). It's no wonder why the parking lot is always empty.
