Max is back is a store who DOES NOT accept returns made within a few days of purchase! They tried to tell me all sales are final on sale items- however the item I purchased was not on sale and they would not refund the money nor give store credit for the item which was the wrong item- discovered only after purchasing it. Even in the same wrap, box unadulterated in any way Max is Back would not take the item back. BE FORWARNED- do not trust them to stand behind their products.

Gardening is one of my passions. The other is treating ppl with kindness and respect. The owner of Maxx is Back does not share the latter. Ppl deserve to know where their money is going. This man is arrogant and with a great location will do well despite no appreciation. I spend 2k a year there and that couldn't get me 5 dead mums replaced at the Original Sale price when purchased a week earlier and they all died! I didn't even ask for them to be replaced free of charge! Unreal. What's worse is he tells me, I am very successful and very busy. This man doesn't deserve your money and you deserve better quality. This is the character of the owner. Fortunately he has some hard working good ppl there to make sales. And to make him rich.

The outdoor garden portion of this company is comprised of a lot of arrogant, rude and unhelpful people with no knowledge of plants whatsoever. No decent consumer would ever put up with their attitudes. They act like they were raised behind teams of jackass mules, and that is just how they treat people, too. Overpriced, not the greatest stock, and not worth the bad experience.

What an extremely friendly and caring staff.I was starting to get overheated and the staff got me a cool rag and put me inside under ac and checked on me quite often to see if I was ok.Store is spectacular.We want to go back again tomorrow!

I Stop in for Mums,I can not believe the Big Variety of Halloween Decorations,from pumpkins,corn stalks,and Indoor decorations.By the time I left I had not only purchased mums.The staff was very helpful made my shopping very easy.

Marsha was great got alot of ideas how to decorate the front of my home.

You can't find this kind of service anymore.

My family and I have never been treated as badly by any retailer as we were on a recent visit to Max is Back. My oldest daughter, elderly father and I recently visited this store in search of buying a great deal of plants to re-do our entire backyard. A middle aged yard man treated us so badly that we requested to see the owner. When the owner appeared and offered not one ounce of help or resolution it was time to pack up and give my business to Home Depot and Lowes. I have always been one to try and keep the mom and pop businesses open. All I can say is that I hope Home Depot and Lowes drive this business into bankruptcy. Stay away from Max is Back!

I would not recommend this place. There are enough places in the area to go to that care about the customer. Nothing special and overpriced.
