What a waste of time and money. They padded the bill with extras we didn't order. If you order a call brand liquor. Don't be surprised if you get the rot gut. I ordered captain morgan rum and got some cheap bar rum. I sent it back twice no change in the taste. I have been drinking capt. morgan for 20 years I know what it tastes like. Oh yea, they charged me for capt. Morgan. What a rip off! Don't waste your time. I hear the one in Oakbrook is worse. Take my advice: DON"T GO! Tell all your friends not to go either.

I went to this restaurant after checking the reviews on google but I found out that the service was horrible. Waited close to 20 mins for a drink and the restaurant ran out of shrimp...never had that happen to me before. This is a definite skip in my opinion.
I've dined at this restaurant a few times on very busy Saturday nights. The bar area is quaint and the bar staff is attentive and anticipates my every need. As I wait for a table for dinner, I am entertained with much conversation by Angie and Laney, the bartenders. They are very gracious and polite. The gentleman who runs the restaurant, Filippo, checks with all of his guests to ensure everyone is pleased with their meal choice and to see if anyone needs anything else. He will then seat me and make me feel comfortable, as if I were dining at home, with his care and interest. The food is scrumptious. I've tried various items from the menu, and have never been disappointed. There is much selection. Even though it is extremely busy, Filippo keeps a calm, professional demeanor, while maintaining the utmost in service. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants an authentic Italian meal.
From the few times that I've dined at Capri, the food was satisfactory, but the service was horrible. My parties have had the following bad experiences at Capri:- The host (whose the owner's son according to staff) repeatedly tells customers waiting to be seated that there is only a 15-20 minute wait, when actually there is (was) over an hour to wait. According to some staff that I've spoken with, he does this quite often to keep customers from going anywhere else.- On a separate occasion The host (supposed owner's son) had the nerve to come and ask my party (half way through our meal) to move to another table so that he could accommodate a larger party that just walked in.Capri could be a decent place, but their manager/host has horrible service skills and uses poor judgement.
Reservations NEEDED on weekends.
