Outstanding. Break job & repairs to a break job a dealer had recently done that had issues and repaired a flat. Supplied additional helpful information and comments. I will never go to the dealers I have in the past. Highly recommend.

Go to River Hills if you are prepared to hear there is nothing wrong, only to have the issue occur again and then have to take it else where so they can genuinely figure out why the problem is occurring. My husband and I have been going there for many years. I don't know what has happened to the service that we used to experience. My husband can continue to go there. I am done!

I hate to eat my own words (it always leaves a bitter taste in your mouth), but I had left a negative review for these guys awhile back. I had jumped the gun when I was angry, and have to apologize. What I can honestly tell you though, is these guys do great work, in a very timely fashion, and will treat you with the utmost respect! I will never doubt River Hills Automotive again, and will be recommending them to anybody in the area with car trouble. Thanks again Dave & crew!!

I recently had a slow crank on my car, sometimes would turn over, sometimes wouldn't. Paid to get diagnostic testing done, battery and alternator came back fine, they suggested the starter was going bad. After the testing, I was looking at a price range of $435-485. ** A key note on what they told me; "this might not fix the problem". That is simply a starter and diagnostics. The best part is, is that THEY are the ones that installed my last battery and starter. I got it jumped in the parking lot and left. Bought a starter from Oreilly's for $125 dollars and brought it to a different place. Not only will they install a purchased from elsewhere part (which River Hills won't), they told me the battery was completely fried. So what I was thinking is that River Hills lied about the battery being good, so they could go all the way around it, then charge me with that last. There was a very honest guy that used to work here, but I haven't seen him in a few months, nor will I ever at River Hills Automotive, since I will never step foot in that place again.

I had a flat tire on Sunday the day after the Blizzard. Called around to many tow/service stations and all of them told me over 12 hour wait. So last place to call was river hills and I wish it was the first place I would have called they were great. They came out to me in less than 15 min. The guy in the truck was great. very nice to help out in such cold weather. I will definitely will go back to them for future service needs. Thanks again. Travis

I have been going here for about 5 years. My wife had some car issues and we needed some work done under warranty, shortly after we moved to Burnsville. I don't remember why we picked River Hills, but it was one of the best decisions we have made. We have always got excellent service. The technicians have always done things right the 1st time. Above all, what I like best is that they don't pressure you in to having work done you don't need. If there is a minor issue, they will honestly tell you whether it needs to be fixed or if it can slide. If they do replace/fix something, they aren't going to over charge you either. My wife's friend had an issue with her car, went to multiple shops to figure out what the problem was. Each place said it would be over a grand to fix. She went to River Hills, got the problem fixed for a few hundred and wasn't what these other places were saying it was. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!!

On Nov 6th, I took my car to River Hills Automotive to have my tire looked at. the evening before, I got a flat tire in downtown Minneapolis. I was hoping that the flat tire could be repaired as I didn't want to purchase a new one if I didn't have to. The tech. looked at the tire and even showed me where it had been repaired previously (happened before I bought my car). He explained to me why I needed a new tire and did so without patronizing me because I'm a woman. So it was...I needed to get a new tire afterall. He showed me the different options I had and never tried to "upsell" me to a more expensive tire. At River Hills, you get fast, honest service with full explanations of what needs to be done and why. This is a family owned business since 1968. I hope they're around for 40 more years
