      My Point Now, formerly Red Barn Media Group, was founded in 1997 by Chief Developer Chris Wade in a 200 year old carriage barn located in northern Vermont with the goal of providing high efficiency web based services to the mechanical trades industries. At the turn of the century, and after 20 years working in the HVAC industry as a New England based wholesaler, Chris combined his knowledge of the industry with his passion for Internet technology and began developing an online operating system for one of the largest manufacturers of heating appliances on the planet. As the value behind this first operating system became evident, members from all walks of the Mechanical Trades industry, including contractors and wholesalers, began approaching Chris to discuss the possibilities of having his system modified to meet their specific needs. Today My Point Now offers innovative, dynamic and continuously evolving web based services to all members of the Mechanical Trades industry with the ultimate goal of building a nationwide network of contractors, wholesalers and manufacturers to allow for seamless data sharing and open communication via an online hub.
