It serves general contractors, developers, institutional and health care clients. The company offers a wide range of services, from budgeting, project management, estimation services to construction, installation and maintenance services. Its plumbing and fire protection division offers advanced computer-aided design equipment for coordination; licenses, design and estimating services; commissions and startup services to ensure the need for unnecessary callbacks; and combined purchasing resources. Hamel & McAlister, located in Burlington, Mass., has completed several projects, including Sun Micro Systems, Cambridge Marriott, Boston Properties, Millenium Pharmaceutical, Dana Farber Hospital and Alkermes Pharmaceuticals.
