The R.C. Durr YMCA in Burlington, Kentucky offers a variety of programs and amenities for members. Programs include youth sports leagues, swim lessons, competitive swimming, gymnastics and ninja classes, after school care, preschool, and personal training. Members enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming, basketball, strength and cardio lines, free weights, fitness classes, child watch while they work out and more.

Unable to put weight on my feet for 1 1/2 years due to operations I had gained 40 lbs and it was only going up. I did some exercises at home but nothing seemed to help. Then I looked into and joined the YMCA. The Pool Exercise Class helped me to strengthen my muscles and loose weight, moving on to low impact machines and finally even a Zumba class! I've had to do the normal dieting but I couldn't have even gotten started without their help. I've now lost 42 lbs and am on my way to a healthier me.
