I worked at Village Vet for ten years before moving to Florida and it was difficult for me to leave. It is a "family practice" with warm and friendly veterinarians and staff who are compassionate and highly competent. The owners, John and Anne Lonam, are dedicated to fostering this in their employees and giving the best possible care to the patients. I truly believe as a general practice, it is the best in the area. They keep up with their medicine and surgery through continuing education and equipment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this practice for wellness, illness, or boarding. Julia Jones DVM

I have been a customer of Village Veterinary Clinic since 1989 and I have had many pets during that time. The care provided is among the best in the area; the staff are well trained and professional; and the costs are reasonable. The vets take the time to explain your pet's situation and offer alternatives regarding treatment whenever possible. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a vet in the Northern Virginia area.
We can only recommend this splendid animal clinic because here you have a super team working that has only the best treatment for your animal in mind. They perform tremendous work with animals, and aim to guard, protect and heal your special friend. We'd never go anywhere else with our fuzzy darlings! Barbara Williams

I have visited Village Veterinary clinic for many years now, for boarding and care of my cat . I love the boarding facilities and the loving care taken by the staff. Dr Lonam and Staff have been great to me through out the years with "state of the art "operating facilities . Thank you Village Vet! Amy
We've had great experiences at this clinic. Our 3 cats have had terrific care and we've always received sound advice from the staff. The clinic is not too pushy and you don't feel like you are getting a big sales pitch on the latest and greatest in terms of treatments or gadgets. The clinic provides a balanced view of pet care, which is really appealing to me.

My pets have been going to Village Vet Clinic for over 20 years. Fortunately they have been very healthy and just needed mostly routine visits. They've had a few surgical procedures like spaying and neutering, dentals, occasional xrays and labwork etc. The care my pets have received over the years has been excellent. The vets are friendly and take the time to thoroughly examine my pets and address any questions or concerns I have. I don't feel like they try to push services "just to make a buck". Many of the support staff have been there a long time too, so they are very familiar with me and my family and my pets' needs, so it's nice to have that personal touch. When we had a family emergency they were able to board my pets on short notice during a busy boarding time. I know they were full, but they went the extra mile to make sure we didn't have to worry about our pets during a stressful time.
