We had a positively outstanding experience. This was our second time to Burke Healthcare; our previous experience several years ago also resulted in excellent care from all facets of the Center: Physcial Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Nurrsing Care. From the time we arrived until discharge seven weeks later, we could not have been happier. The nursing care was both responsive and compassionate; the physcial and occupational therapy resulted in an earlier realease than anticipated. The entire staff performed in a professional and caring manner. The most important takeaway from both our visits: The patient requires the assistance of both the Center AND the family; working TOGETHER. Burke showed us how to work holistically TOGETHER to assure the best results. We would not hestitate to recommend Burke Healthcare to anyone requiring this type of service.

I would say the best surprise for a skillled rehab center ever. The facility decor is gorgeous and I just wasnt expecting it. I am 93 years young and fell. The last place ai wanted to be was in a rehab center but I knew I needed it. Burke is so bright, cheerful and happy and the mood by all staff is the same. My daughter said only Burke! Well, the staff are kind, compassionate and highly skilled. Everyone has been so attentive to me. I just would not have ever expected it. Healthcare has come a long way over the years and this place is on the leading edge.

My father was there for short term nursing and rehab! He was treated with kindness, compassion and respect. He was very weak and recovering from kidney surgery. He absolutely loved the therapy and nursing staff. Treated with nothing but love by all. He enjoyed the meals and the surroundings. Burke is truly the gem of northern Virginia. I literally went to seven other facilities and would choose none other! It is must see and a must "feel".. There is warmth and happiness everywhere.

My parent was moved here this week for what we hope will be rehab. The first 24 hours have been horrific. So the rest of the week can't do anything but improve. The main telephone line is answered and then calls are transferred, but no one answers the phone day or night. No one has been able to give any information or the name of anyone who can provide information about a rehab plan. The rooms are old, dingy, and smelly. Based on my initial day's impression, this is nothing more than an old-fashoined nursing home - not a rehab center. I am hopeful that based on the other review, there will be PT/OT by tomorrow.

A loved one has been in your facility for 9 days. Nurses are very kind, but overworked. Rooms are dingy ,furniture is old and not very clean. Beds are frequently left unmade with dirty sheets. Waste cans not emptied frequently. Patients wondering in and out of his room. Suggest you put patients name in large letters on the door. Most of the meals have been served cold, slightly warm and food is just plain terrible, and not eatable for the most part. PT is a high point. An A plus for that.
