To the Owners, Corporate Board of Directors or any other parties that have an interest in RV World of Georgia.
I realize this a long post/review but a necessary one!
In my opinion, RV World of Georgia doesn't deserve a rating period. T took my 2007 TourMaster motorhome to RV World of Georgia to have the windshield wipers reconnected. Freightliner of Georgia un-plugged them at the time I had new batteries installed. Mr. Kevin Johns, the service manager; promised me it would be ready before the end of the day so that I could get back on the road. Late Friday afternoon around closing time, I received a call from Mr. Kevin Johns telling me they were unable to get the repairs completed before closing time. My wife and I were trying to leave on our long-awaited trip to South Dakota. I told Mr. Johns I was disappointed, but I understood. I explained to Mr. Johns even though I was disappointed; I would pick up my motorhome early Monday morning so we could leave on our trip. He assured me my motorhome would be ready when I arrived on Monday. When I arrived at RV World of Georgia Monday at 9:00 am, I was informed my motorhome would not start because the batteries were bad. Remember, I just had new batteries installed at Freight Liner which caused to be me suspicious of what I was being told. I waited for two hours and forty-five minutes in the lobby while my wife and dog were waiting in the car. After checking with the service desk a number to times about what the problems were, I was told they were having problems starting my motorhome. I explained to Mr. Kevin Jones and an employee at the service desk if they would not take me to my motorhome that I was going to climb the fence to see what was going on. An employee at the service desk told me he would take me back to where my motorhome was parked. When he retrieved a golf-cart, he took me to a lot in the very back where my RV was parked. When we arrived where it was parked, I discovered that my motorhome had damage to the left side mirror and rear awning arm. Someone parked another motorhome beside my motorhome so close they mashed the left-side mirror into the windshield and damaged the rear awning arm. I took pictures of the area that was destroyed and browed some tools to put the mirror back where it should be so I could leave on our trip, and the fact that I could not leave my wife and dog in the car any longer. I explained to Mr. Kevin Johns and the service desk person that was there. I would bring my motorhome back to have the paint to the mirror and the awning repaired. Both agreed that they would take care of everything when I brought it back.
The starting issue was the main-switches/breakers were turned off. When I turned the main switches/breaker on, I started the generator and the motorhome and left with my wife on our trip. When I returned from our trip to South Dakota, I took my motorhome back to RV World for the repairs. After a week, no one had started performing any repairs. Expressing my complaint to Mr. Kevin Johns about the service I was receiving, he promised he would get the repairs completed ASAP. He promised he would wash my motorhome, they never cleaned it, for all the delays and the numerous trips back to RV World for the repairs as a way to show they were at fault/wrong and wanted to make it right. I thought at the time that was the first time anyone showed any concerns for the problems RV World of Georga had caused — returning to RV World a second time to correct the paint is the wrong color and incomplete. The left side mirror, the mirror arm, and the mirror baseplate were the wrong color. Plus the awning would not open and close correctly and need to be corrected. After being delayed with many excuses, I wanted to speak to the manager, Mr. Jimmy Grotz. After my meeting with Mr. Grotz, he committed to me he would look into what was going on and would make it right. What a waste of time, he did nothing; he ended up being the prob

Bought a used 38' 2003 Allegro Bus from RV World of GA in late Oct 2015, to use for retirement and pending trip to Alaska heading out May, 2016. Prior to receiving our "Bus", RV World replaced all the window and door seals, installed a new radio, and repaired other miscellaneous items. We paid for painting on the top and front along with a small repair to side area from previous owners. RV World did more than required and we were very happy with the result.

As previous 5th wheel owners, but new to Class A's, we set out to our local campground to try out this massive 38ft rig, including learning all the systems and processes inherent with a Class A Bus. Having problems with multiple issues, some intermittent, including 12 volt dead after a few days. RV World sent out service technician to our campground on a late Friday afternoon to attempt to fix (40 miles away)--surprised they would go to such lengths. Technician upset with our situation, indicating "this is not how we do business". He could not fix at site so back to RV World for repair.

Appeared there may have been an electrical surge with resultant electrical issues. Required replacing major items such as Xantrex display panel, converter, inverter, jack leveling system pressure switch, hazard and ACC switch, water heater thermostat, TV antennae, new awning door instead of new spring arm, and a few various smaller items found at camp. When we picked up The Bus after RV World keeping for a few weeks (to insure no issues with 12 volt/120 volt systems, etc.), we were ecstatic to learn we were not billed for any of the several thousand dollars of parts and labor. Again, many apologies from RV World for having the issues and resulting inconvenience.

Should some of these issues been discovered/repaired by RV World before the sale? Maybe. But, to their defense, many of the problems were intermittent and/or required using the rig to discover same.

Let me say that in our dealings with RV World, every employee was professional and attentive to our needs. The technicians appeared passionate about their work and proud of the end product. This is the way to do business. No Camping World for us. Only RV World of GA.

TJ and all the staff were a pleasure to work with. Originally we checked on a used unit and TJ discussed putting us in a new unit which worked out much better. I would recommend many times over this dealership and staff. They were great and go out of their way to work with you.

I want to take a moment and thank EVERYONE at RV World of Georgia. We had been looking specifically for a Winnebago Chieftain 39T. When we found one there, we were on the road from Oklahoma within minutes – really! RV World went miles above anything we expected for a used coach. From the big ticket items, like new tires, windshield (it had a small crack) BEFORE we even committed to the purchase, to the little things like a burned out bulb, the folks at RV World made sure this unit was right before it left. While the entire staff gets a huge thank you, I’d like to single out Jon, our technician, for a herculean job of replacing the refrigerator cooling unit at the last minute, knowing we were anxious to get on the road. Jon, thanks buddy, you are awesome!

We bought our RV at RV World of Georgia and just love it. It is a 2007 Tiffin Phaeton (35). The problem it is too high for our son's huge garage which was built years ago for a parade float. Now we have it on consignment --- so sad. It had everything I wanted in a motorhome.
