i left my two dogs at the puppy pantry Hamilton mill for 5 days during memorial day weekend .. after a received them back i discovered that one of them has a big injury in his knee and ear .. the second one has his tail broken !! .. and both of them got ticks !!! - i took them both to banfield clinic second day where they costs me hundreds of dollars to diagnose and recover .. i called them to complain and they said they will ask the owner about what to do and come back .. they came back and said we can't help you and you will not be able to prove that happen due to us .. long story short .. NEVER leave your dog at this place

My beautiful golden doodle got BUTCHERED at the groomer. We went several times, had a great groomer who did exactly what we asked. Today had a terrible groomer who did OPPOSITE of what we asked and then said it was our fault! Owner didn't talk to me but said they would comp it but I would never be able to bring the dog back...LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT!!! Not that I would bring her back but still, it is the principle!! Owner was supposed to call me and did not. When I opened the door of the store, a dog ran out who had been in the store wandering without a leash. Turned out it was my dog but I did not recognize her!!!!!!! Just left to run free in the store/out the door!!!! Irresponsible and absolutely terrible service and quality!! DO NOT GO IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG! This is the only review I have ever written publicly if that tells you how upset I am and I will continue to warn everyone in any way that I can. They deleted my Facebook post. No apology AT ALL!!!!!! Wish I could post the picture!

For a small boutique type pet store, Puppy Pantry carries a huge selection of high quality food, toys and treats. Many of the toys I had previously purchased online are available in store and the prices are actually competitive which was a huge surprise given the upscale feel of the shop. My puppy, who has separation anxiety (I know it sounds ridiculous...), goes to doggy daycare at Puppy Pantry three days a week. He actually goes nuts trying to get into the place in the mornings. While there is always an element of risk when putting strange dogs together in a run, I feel that the staff in the boarding area are knowledgeable and careful and keep my dog's safety a top priority. I also love the fact that dogs who are boarded at Puppy Pantry get to play in the group runs daily at not extra cost! This has never been the case anywhere that I have used for boarding in the past. And on top of everything the price is phenomenal for the service.

i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended becauseLoved this place every month for the last year, then today after the service was performed we find out that the groomer that our dog loved and trusted no longer works there. Then the new groomer who had a bit of an attitude then told us that the price would go up by 70% starting with the service just performed and that the previous groomer had not been charging us enough, every month, for the past year. Our dog seemed stressed, the new staff was rude, the price nearly doubled AFTER the service was performed and the service was not nearly as good as the previous groomer that they had.. I will NOT be going back.
