Buford Academy offers a range of academic and cocurricular programs to students in grades three through five. It provides special education classes in writing, reading, English, arts, math, social studies and science. The academy also offers an elective academic curriculum that includes various subjects, such as fine and performing arts, technology, music, dance and health education. It also involves students in sports activities and programs, including community and behavioral education and development. The academy organizes Christmas parties and Thanksgiving Day celebrations. It has a guidance department that offers individual and group counseling to students. It additionally serves daily lunch through its cafeteria. The academy organizes a variety of special programs, such as curriculum nights and book fairs. The academy is located in Buford, Ga., and is a part of Buford City Schools.
